For a young athlete, it's a journey to learn and understand the game. They often need the rules of the game repeated for them, shown to them, explained to them. It's part of the learning process.

I've realized that one of the best ways to support my daughter is to read the rules and to better understand the game, then to use the information to guide her, to help her understand when she can run, if she needs to tag up and when home plate is open.
